Klanghaus presents

QuietHAUS

An evening of low decibel entertainment

Monday, July 24, 2017 - Z Space Lobby
Doors at 7 PM - Show at 8 PM

Klanghaus is a monthly event featuring local artists representing an array of mediums. Each Klanghaus has a unique theme, or a featured artist, or an experimental method of curation on which the event is built around. Through multimedia, performance and installation we create an immersive atmosphere in which to explore and experiment. We hope that these experiences inspire cross-pollination between different creative communities, collaboration, imagination and excitement.

Join for us for an evening of peace and quiet...this month Klanghaus presents Quiethaus where we will be featuring live performances, video games, installations, knitting, zines and more all at a decibel level that wouldn't wake up your sleeping roommate.

Local performers include magician Christian Cagigal, performance artist Margaret McCarthy, noise maker Forrest McCuller and visual artist Richie Rhombus. Other features of our evening include distinct zones where you can try out new videos games made by local programmers, knit a giant blanket with Jessie Wayburn, read in our zine reading room curated by Kelsey Wheatfield and a game of I spy created by Klanghaus company members.

Doors are at 7 pm, we start our evening of quiet exploration at 8 pm and end promptly at 10 pm, so come early or on time to catch all of the exciting performances we have prepared.
